What is EcoAppsFree.com?
EcoAppsFree.com is where greening the world goes mobile.
Basically we are a marketing channel for green/eco/health iPhone, iPad and Android apps.
We are a platform that pushes the eco app of the day into the direction up in the App stores’ ranks worldwide as well as deliver the word of mouth (WOM) among eco-minded individuals.

What`s an Eco App?
It is a new generation of smartphone applications that provide meaningful information that can make a positive social and environmental impact.
We consider an app as “eco” when it meets at least one of our 3 requirements:
1. Do good for the planet or people
2. Save nature resources (e.g.: an e-book saves papers)
3. Replace a hard good with a digital one (e.g.: An alarm clock app replaces the need to buy an alarm clock)

What is there for the world?
We are enabling smart-phone users to take action in pro of our planet by delivering Eco Apps FREE to their smartphones / tablets. So, they can put their devices in pro of our greener planet cause by using those eco apps they download.

What is there for you (The smartphone/tablet users)?
We provide Eco-minded apps for free, that normally have a cost. So, you have nothing to loose for trying the eco apps.
We also search through thousands of applications to simply find an eco-app so you save your time too.

What do you need to do (The smartphone/tablet users)?
You just need to add your e-mail into our Eco App Free Alert (located on our home page) according to your smartphone OS (Apple or Android) as soon as we have confirmed your e-mail, you are added into our e-mail list and we will let you to know when the next eco app is available for free download.

What do we do with the e-mails collected (The smartphone/tablet users)?
Your email address will never be shared with any 3rd parties and you will receive only the alert of the featured eco app. That is it!
NO Spam and no worries ever.

What`s is there for you (The developers)?
You might be asking yourself, “Why would I want to make my “paid” app, free for a day?” Many developers are finding that by going free for a limited time and being boosted up the rankings with the help of Eco Apps Free, their app gets a lot of exposure. People who may never have known your app existed are now seeing it in the charts, or better yet, by being featured directly by Eco Apps Free you know that your app will be in the hands of the right target and chances are higher for them refer your app to their friends. This word‐of‐mouth advertising can really spike your sales once you go back to being paid. If you’re a freemium app to begin with, you want as much exposure and as many downloads as possible.

What do you need to do (The developers)?
Choose the Promotion Levels that you want.
Proceed with filling out the form on the Promotion Level page (after you click on the promotion button of your choice)
After we confirm that your app is good to be feature on EcoAppsFree.com, we will give you further instructions.

How long must I leave the Eco Apps Free branding text at the top of my app description?
It must remain there as long as our promotion is going on (24 hours).

When do I add the branding text to my app description?
You must add our Eco Apps Free branding text to the very top of your app description between 8pm and 11pm PST the day before your promotion. So, if you are being featured on January 3rd, then the branding text should be added no later than 11pm PST(GMT ‐8), January 2nd. The earliest is the best.

When do I make my price change from paid to free?
If you have a paid app that is going free, this should be done at the same time as you add the branding text. Make sure your app goes from paid to free no later than 11pm PST the day before your promotion. You can also program the price change via iTunes Connection but do not forget to manually add the iTunes description.

How are your users notified of featured apps?
We send out a direct e-mail (all opt in subscribers) on the day of your app is being featured to all users letting them know about your app. We have also our own EcoAppsFree iPhone/iPad app that will display your app too. Depending the promotion plan level you choose, we notify users on social media channels as well.

Can I cancel or get a refund?
Once a spot is booked, there are no refunds.

Do you do just reviews?
No, we are not a review site. We review apps that are featured in our website for the only propose to check if fits on our eco app`s concept.

Do you provide ranks before and after the promotions?
We do only on our PRO level promotions.

How many downloads can I expect?
We make no estimates of what you can expect. We ask that you look at the testimonials (Wow!) from our previous advertisers. There are too many variables that can affect downloads, such as your app icon, your app name, the date of your release, your app rating, the quality of your app, and so on. However, as you can see from our Wow! page, we have a large list (and growing) of developers who have been ecstatic with their results.

When is payment required?
Payment is required at least 3 days prior to the feature date. Failure to pay by that time will force your spot to be opened to other developers. It is best to pay for your spot well in advance.

What type of payment do you take?
PayPal is now a globally accepted and mainstream way of making payments. We accept PayPal. We also accept wire transfers. If you have a bank account, you can set up a PayPal account if you do not already have one. Please note that the verification process for setting up a PayPal account may take a couple days, so if you are going to do this, plan ahead and do it well in advance of the date you wish to make payment.

How long is your pricing guaranteed for?
We are constantly growing, adding lot`s of users every week. As the user base of eco minded individuals increases, so will the rates. At the beginning of each month, we will determine if the rate will increase. Once payment is made, the rate is locked in until your promotion.
